Fisherman Whirligig

My brother wanted a whirligig, so I made a custom fisherman. I carved the man out of poplar. I made the boat out of mahogany. The base has a figured maple veneer stained in blue to simulate water. The fish on the wire is an antique wooden lure. Shark fin for the wind leverage.
