I played with JD Simo, opening for Styx in July 2004 at the Surf Ballroom in Clearlake
Iowa. If you ever get the chance to get to the Surf Balroom, GO! It is the coolest ballroom, you walk in, and you're stepping into the past. The Surf Ballroom
is where Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, and Ritchie Valens played their last shows.
The Styx guys were very gracious to sign this, great guys. Tommy Shaw (guitar), Lawrence Gowan (keyboards), Ricky Phillips (bass), and James Young (Guitar).
The drummer didn't sign.
